The mission of Mini Mirage is to create a safe and professional learning environment for our students to thrive as they truly become a part of the theatrical process. We want our young artists to feel nurtured, yet challenged, as we push their creative limits. Our shows will be cast unabashedly without bias, as we proudly coin the term "type blind casting", so that our acting students may have the opportunity to play the roles that move them; their dream roles; the roles they feel that they were born to play - the ones they may not have the opportunity to play elsewhere or as adults. Regardless of type, race, body image, and in some cases, gender...the young actors who walk into our space will be cast based on the audition that they give, period.
